Andrew Kartuzov

Andrew Kartuzov - one of the founders of the Russian Youth Theatre and its Musical Director. He is also the Vice-President of RCTCC since 2003. Andrew graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State University with a degree in Radiophysics and State Musical Colledge as a piano teacher. In Ukraine, Andrew has performed at concerts, accompanying singers, violinists, playing pop-Symphony Orchestra of Dnepropetrovsk. In Canada, Andrew has performed in thematic concerts, worked as a piano teacher, accompanist and vocal instructor.

For the great contribution into the development of Russian dramatic art abroad and promotion of Russian language and culture in Canada, Andrew Kartuzov received Award from the Government Commission for Compatriots Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation..

In March of 2012 Andrew Kartuzov performed two roles in J. Offenbach's "The Tales Of Hoffmann" in Toronto City Opera production staged by Giuseppe Machina.
